This iteration of Riley's Roast is from the Yirgacheffe region of Southern Ethiopia. 

You can expect a light and delicate coffee with hints of lemon zest and black tea.

We love this coffee almost as much as we love our blind, senior dog Riley... and we think you will, too!

 

History:

The coffee plant was first discovered in Ethiopia around the ninth century. Naturally, Ethiopia is considered “the birthplace of coffee.” Typically, Ethiopian coffee is grown on small plots of land with average temperatures between 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit and an average rainfall of 70 inches per year. The Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia is considered one of the best in the world for coffee production due to the ideal growing conditions. With its sweet, floral flavors and light to medium body, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is often rated and reviewed as the highest quality, premium grade coffee in the world.
